One Factory, Four Product Lines – Maximize Your Mango Investment
Not all mango processing lines produce the same result. Some buyers need smooth, fiber-free puree for juice and nectar. Others need uniform dried mango slices for snack packaging. Our modular mango processing line allows you to configure for either end product—or both—without buying separate equipment for each application.
Mango Pulp Line Configuration
This configuration prioritizes juice yield and texture refinement. After washing and sorting, mangoes pass through a paddle type pulper with screens ranging from 0.8 to 1.5 millimeters. A second stage refiner removes residual fibers and seeds, producing smooth puree ready for sterilization. The pulp line includes a vacuum deaerator to remove oxygen, preventing darkening and flavor loss, followed by either a tube-in-tube sterilizer for aseptic bag filling or a plate heat exchanger for chilled puree destined for frozen storage.
Key specifications for the pulp line include a juice extraction rate of eighty-five to ninety-two percent depending on mango variety, final puree Brix adjustable from twelve to twenty-eight degrees, and fiber content reduced to less than one percent.
Dried Mango Line Configuration
This configuration prioritizes slice uniformity and moisture control. After washing and manual or automatic peeling, a rotary slicing machine produces consistent slices at thicknesses from four to twelve millimeters. Slices are arranged on drying trays or conveyor belts and enter a multi-layer dryer with independent temperature control. The drying chamber operates between fifty-five and seventy degrees Celsius over six to ten hours depending on desired final moisture. A cooling conveyor brings slices down to room temperature before packaging.
Key specifications for the dried line include final moisture content adjustable from twelve to eighteen percent, water activity below 0.6 for shelf stability, and color retention preserved through sulfite-free pretreatment options.
Combined Line for Multi Product Factories
If you serve both the beverage and snack industries, we can configure a combined line with a product diverter after the peeling and pitting station. One branch sends mango halves to the pulping station, and the other sends them to the slicing and drying station. This setup allows you to produce puree during the morning shift and dried mango during the afternoon shift using the same upstream washing and peeling equipment.
